Baptism

Allen
I witnessed a bunch of people of different ages being baptised on Sunday. As we know, most churches baptise infants, the idea being that the baptism represents a pledge by the parents that the child will be raised Christian which the child can re-affirm or not in later life. Anabaptists think that people should be baptised when they are old enough to personally decide whether they are Christian, so generally in their late teens. The Church of God is a compromise, where the person is thought to be old enough and makes the decision at whatever age, with the parents making the decision as to whether they do in fact understand the religion. Personally I agree with the mainstream on this one. Infant baptism was the choice of the apostolic church and makes logical sense.

If God does not exist, then Christianity has failed because the American Republic and its Islamic principles destroyed it. The First Amendment is based on http://quran.com/2/256

Jews and Christians never enjoyed freedom of belief when they took Judaism and Christianity seriously.

The Koran is the only scripture from the Abrahamic God that protects freedom of belief which is now assumed to be a liberal value, but was in fact based on a verse in the Koran.

Just admit that Christianity is kaput and give it up already.
