Does technology need to be destroyed?

I recently watched the Neuralink demo where they were able to light up a "pixel" in a monkey's vision, using a chip implanted in its brain. If you don't believe here is the video, around the 1:44:00 mark:

https://youtu.be/YreDYmXTYi4

They talk about how this could be used to give blind people their vision back.

If an invasive chip like this gives can give people such a close connection with computers, then people who don't get the invasive procedure to get this implanted will be at a disadvantage. And eventually everyone will be forced to get one, because life will be too difficult without it. Remember smart phones, and before that cars. People used to get by without these things, but then society adapted in such a way that now they are required.

Another thing I am worried about is artificial wombs:

https://metro.co.uk/2022/12/13/artificial-womb-facility-is-a-glimpse-of-pregnancy-in-the-future-17926466/

If fornication causes so many societal problems, just think what an artificial womb would do. Every human invention related to reproduction seems to just make things worse, and I haven't speculated on exactly what would happen, but I think artificial wombs may be an existential threat, because of the degree that it deviates from the natural order of things.

Is it time to say "enough is enough" and that the technological-industrial society should be dismantled for good?

It does seem difficult to stop, but the good news is once it is destroyed it will pretty much be destroyed for good, because of how dependent the way we do things is on technology. Once we go back to the stone age, how are they going to manufacture copper wire? It will take generations to rebuild everything. Maybe more given given the poor genetics of today's people.

So all that needs to be done is get people to agree to dismantling technology once, and it will basically be dismantled for good.

The coming idiocracy will destroy technology, so I don't think there is anything to worry about here.
