Eliminate star and view count column

Can we eliminate star and view count column? I definitely don't use favorites and I don't think views are taken that seriously. If we eliminate these it will make the forum a bit cleaner and more focused.

I removed the star column but I use the views column to see what people read.  I am probably the only person who uses it, but I would like to keep it.

A few more thoughts:

1) Is it possible to remove the avatar icon thumbnail from forum pages but keep it on thread pages?

2) Can we disable search since there's only one page of threads and we can see all of them?

I got rid of the avatar columns but I want to keep the search because this searches for text inside posts.  One can't tell where something is just from the thread title.  Also I think people expect to find search on any serious site.
