God is not on my side

He is on the scums' side. He supports them. God is working to uplift the scum and purge me from the world.

Perhaps he is just not on my religion's side, and he is working against me because I am part of a religion he hates. And perhaps if I were to really integrate into one of his beloved religious communities then God would uplift me.
