Is it a wise choice to let people have choices

We discussed this a lot of times it’s better to have the right choices made for people than have them do the choosing because people no longer have the intelligence to make the right choices. That’s why today bad technology often triumphs over the good ones, why Kpop thrives while good music dies.

If people lack the intelligence to make the right choice then in theory it would be a good thing for them to make their own choices because they would act against their interests and kill themselves, promoting the quality of the gene pool. One issue though is women make up half the population and if they lack the intelligence to make the right choice we cannot let them act against their interests. So I think communities should have freedom, not necessarily individuals.
