At first I took it to the shop. They reinstalled the old OS (El Capitan) on it without any trouble then it was functioning fine… a few days later it became slow again
I took it back to the shop and they changed the hard disk cable. It was functioning fine… then today it got slow on me out of the blue…
That’s it, I just reformatted the hard drive and put Linux (Ubuntu) on it. Functioning fine right now…
FYI my Mac is very old, 2010. But for my programming it’s still very functional. Because it’s so old, Apple stops updating it.
Maybe it’s time to put Linux on it
