Porn

In their endless quest to focus on irrelevant subjects while ignoring all subjects that matter, conservatives and Christians have recently vilified porn.  In briefly researching the subject, I found endless web pages making various assertions against porn with no hard references to scientific studies.  What I want is full scientific studies, including the critical "methods" section, that show there is a problem with porn.  Until I see such studies, I can only assume that the hysteria against porn is just more modern insanity.

Studies on topics like this are worthless because they have too much potential to be fudged by the opinions of the person conducting the study.

So we have to rely on anecdotal evidence, taking how much we trust the person giving it into account.

I jerk off to porn 2-5 times per day and I know at the very least it is time consuming. I spend an hour in the morning and another hour in the evening jerking off. It also makes my voice weak, probably because it disrupts my testosterone. I think the dopamine depletion thing is real too - if I go a week without jerking off it seems like work and hobbies are more satisfying. The problem is that I also go through phases where I get very depressed when I abstain from porn/jerking off. It is truly like a drug, in that you cannot quit without going through unbearable withdrawal symptoms.

I mean, come on, look at these girls:

When you jerk off to girls like these you experience the bliss of feeling like they are yours. And then this bliss becomes the new normal for you. So now if you take them away it's as if you are breaking up with these stunning women. Or the painful realization that you will never be with one of these women starts to hit you. So once you are hooked you have to keep jerking off to porn to avoid feeling like this.

But who knows, maybe porn will end up being a positive for me. Maybe after jerking off to so many girls who look like this I will be motivated to get one for myself. It will motivate me to become a sect leader, and then once I am a sect leader I will actually get one.

Thanks for these articles, I will look at them now.

"Earlier pornography use was found to be associated with lower serum prolactin (PRL), follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), and progesterone (Prog), as well as lower sperm concentration and total sperm count. Higher frequency of pornography use was associated with lower serum estrogen (E2)."

Why do these things matter?  How does porn compare to sex regarding these results?

The rest of the paper just provides evidence for the quoted statement.

This makes the substantive claim the porn causes sexual dysfunction.  The first part claims correlation based on many references, but unfortunately these references don't seem to lead to full studies, so I can't judge them.  Next are 3 clinical reports.  These prove the obvious, namely that excessive porn causes sexual dysfunction, but only while used.  The only conclusion from this is that someone in a relationship shouldn't excessively use porn.  The rest of the paper is uninteresting.

So only one obvious conclusion here.  No evidence that people not in a relationship shouldn't use porn.

It's okay dönmeh, if you deliberately don't want to put one and one together and still want to think that something so evolutionarily novel as porn is good for you, watch it, use it. I'm all for feminine, energy-depleted dimwits. For the rest:

- low prolactin and FSH levels are usual in males, so that's okay, unless they are too low, in which case it indicates that the pituitary gland is not working properly

- low progesterone levels are bad for men, as this hormone is a precursor to testosterone: https://www.bodylogicmd.com/hormones-for-men/progesterone/

- low sperm concentration and total sperm count: if it has to be explained to you, you shouldn't ask questions like that in the first place

Porn was invented by modern scum, and everyone who keeps using it is a victim of modern degeneration.

Obviously sperm count drops if one releases sperm.  The core question is how is moderate porn different from prostitution?  Most of those against porn are probably against prostitution too, and prostitution is not new or novel.  History proves that prostitution is good for society.  Those against prostitution are just morons.

A blatant false premise. Prostitution emerged with civilization in the ancient Near East, at about 2400 BC. So that's a couple thousand years from 2400 BC to today versus the time interval from the Upper Paleolithic (a very conservative approach to what constitutes as H. Sapiens) to 2400 BC. Your entire history is modern. Not only culturally modern, but genetically modern (of course, the former is a product of the latter).

Porn is a substitute for sex, but it's a poor substitute that will never motivate men to stop pursuing and pandering to vile modern women. Porn use is no more problematic than masturbation, though.

The main problem with porn is that it allows prostitutes to make money without having to have sex with clients, which means the pool of prostitutes willing to provide sex is shrinking. In the past, a prostitute had to provide clients with sex in order to make money. Today, all she has to do is create an OnlyFans or PornHub account, film herself having sex with Chads, and wait for men to pay in order to watch it. The last decade has proven that even though porn is freely available online, lots of men will still pay for it.

Prostitution is still illegal or restricted in most Western countries. Even in a country like Germany where prostitution is legal, there still are a lot of restrictions on it, and it's illegal to have sex with a prostitute without a condom. In some Asian and Latin American countries, there are also far more restrictions on prostitution than there should be.

If buying sex were destigmatized and prostitution were easily available, modern women would lose their near total control over the commodity of sex, and that's something that both feminists and conservatives want to prevent from happening at all cost. The current restrictions and bans on prostitution perpetuate the stigma on paying for sex and keep prices high by keeping supply out of the market.

My position is that prostitution should be completely deregulated. Street prostitution should be allowed everywhere except on private property. Prostitutes should be allowed to solicit customers everywhere. That's the only way to reduce the ridiculous amount of social power that women have in modern society. When men will have a much better alternative being dangled right in front of them every single day, they will realize that modern women are garbage and shouldn't be pandered to.

You would think this would also result in a decrease in demand for prostitutes, since porn is a substitute for sex. But fat American prostitutes are still able to charge ridiculously high rates ($400 an hour). It makes you wonder why. Perhaps this is the amount of money they are willing to have sex for, but they get no customers, and since they are able to make enough from onlyfans they do not bother lowering the prices?

That could be what is happening, although the fact that a lot of these overpriced prostitutes are still getting a lot of online reviews suggests shows that there are still men who are willing to pay them large sums of money for sex.

What I've noticed here in Sweden (where buying sex is illegal and highly stigmatized) is that the average age of prostitutes has increased. Most of the native prostitutes are now well into their 30s at least. Most of the young women in the market seem to be exclusively or almost exclusively providing online services. It's only when they're past their prime that more of them begin to offer actual prostitution services at often unreasonable prices.

It has become hard to find young prostitutes who actually speak Swedish. The young native prostitutes are disappearing off the sex market and the only ones remaining are the foreign immigrant women. But the numbers of immigrant prostitutes have not increased much, so the prices keep going up. The recent influx of women from Ukraine doesn't seem to be stopping this trend.

I also like the fact that in the Islamic heaven they make it clear that the virgins you get will be young and with huge tits. Islamic heaven is the most awesome of all the religions.

Re: Porn

You should definitely do it. It's psychological torture to go through life a virgin. To go through life knowing there is this fundamental and blissful part of life that everyone but you gets to experience. Sex itself isnt that much more pleasurable than porn. But for your own sanity you must have sex with a prostitute.

Some practical advise for prostitutes: I find Asian massage parlors are the best place to find prostitutes. They are the most reasonably priced place for prostitutes, and there isn't the shadiness of going to stranger's house or bringing a stranger to your house. You should look online to find which Asian massage parlors have prostitutes. usasexguide is one place. And for major American cities there is a website called ampreviews.

It's illegal where I live in the US too but that doesn't mean anything. I would imagine there are Asian massage parlors that have prostitutes throughout the English speaking world. They avoid getting caught by cops by having you take all your clothes off before asking you for money. A cop wouldn't take off his clothes.

Re: Porn

I think I was close to having a relationship with this fat and unattractive girl (although infatuation made me see her as attractive) back in 2016, but I wasn't aggressive enough in pursuing her, causing her to start rejecting me, and seeking other men in retaliation. I was genuinely suicidal when this happened.

For sexual activity, I am 30 years old and have never had sex with a civilian. I have never even dated anyone. I lost my virginity at 26 to a prostitute in an Asian massage parlor. It was a wonderful experience. Not so much the sex itself, but the feeling afterwards. I felt like I had cheated life. I felt like wasn't worthless repulsive filth anymore. It greatly reduced my depression in a long term way.
