QR code menus

OmegaKV
The last restaurant I went to tried to make me scan this QR code which takes me to an online menu, instead of handing me a physical paper menu.

QR code menus are stupid because for menus paper is the ultimate smartphone. Paper is:

* Lightweight and easy to handle
* Easy on the eyes (no blue light radiation)
* Does not rely on or consume battery
* Does not consume data
* Larger than a smartphone, so that you can see more of the menu at once, and also therefore requires less hand manipulations to navigate through its different parts
* From the customer's perspective it is nice not to have to reach into your pocket
* Easier for wait staff to see when customer is done ordering (they put the menu down)
* No navigating through your smartphone to look for the camera icon to open the camera app
* No having to position your smartphone in the right way to take a picture of the QR code
* No having to deal with freezing apps or website bugs
* The paper menu won't do frustrating unwanted things if you accidentally touch the wrong part of it

But surprisingly, if you read the comments many people seem to like that paper menus are being replaced by the QR code thing:
