The highest degree of Morality

Ibn Ghassan
The Muslims ruled Spain and Portugal for approximately 7 seven centuries, the Muslims ruled Greece(the cradle of the western civilization) for almost 5 centuries, Southern Italy(Sicily) for almost 3 centuries and yet never enforced their faith or Islam onto the natives when they(The Muslims) were at the height of their power.

Now Compare this to the Europeans in Africa or the New World, within a 100-150 years of their discovery of the Americas, the Spanish as well as the Portuguese having learned nothing of greater moral significance from their Muslim ex-rulers, forcibly converted a whole continent to Christianity or Roman Catholicism to be precise.

Muslims have left a benchmark in the history of humanity where even at the giddy heights of their power, they never forcibly converted anyone, for example, at the height of the Muslim rule of Greece, the Muslim Greeks who came to Islam willingly was less than 0.5% and when the Muslim rule of Greece ended, only 2% of the Greeks had accepted Islam.

Hope now you will understand why the elites of the world consider Islam as an enemy.

Wasn't the conversion thing a conquest tactic though? They could justify taxing Christians at a high rate to fund further conquest and in the use their dhimmi status to convert them over time, or at least that was the plan.

"There is no compulsion in religion."
- Quran 2:256

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;"
- First Amendment of the American constitution

I believe that Christianity reached the same level of morality in early America as reached by Muslims in Spain and Portugal.  Of course both Islam and Christianity also produced bad cultures when they strayed from the right path.

I wouldn't blame the elites for modern problems.  Modern culture is thoroughly evil, not just the elites.  It is basically the same as the culture of Sodom and Gomorrah, so it will hate any moral religion, not just Islam.

Do you know that in a state governed accorded to Islamic laws, the taxes on Muslims are higher than the non-Muslims? The Muslims are encouraged to pay more because it is their duty as Muslims to promote Tauheed or Absolute Monotheism.

So you are factually incorrect! And by the way taxes collected in Spain were used to make some of the finest hospitals, Universities as well as Public Libraries etc in Córdoba, Granada as well as Andalusia etc...n I am guessing that you probably don’t know how these were the institutions that lit up the spark of Renaissance in Europe.

Also if the plan was to forcibly convert them like how the Christians did in America or Africa etc, then seven centuries seems like a pretty long time to me, compare that to a hundred something odd years that the conquistadors took to force everyone into the Christian fold in the Americas or expunging the so called dirty Jews out of a Christian Europe etc. Muslims therefore achieved a higher moral ground(and no man is ever perfect) at the height of their absolute power.
