UBI as a cost cutting measure

Allen
UBI arguably should be implemented as a cost cutting measure. Putting most people on UBI as their only income would probably represent a huge saving on resources, as most economic activity that actually makes money is completely wasteful. Take Elon Musk for example. The only profitable business associated with him produces electric cars, i.e. a shitty implementation of a stupid idea, and even those meagre profits are entirely underwritten by the regime. Tesla workers and customers are on a very expensive form of the dole. The rest of Elon's businesses are scams to steal pension funds. Rather than being paid billions to do nothing but stammer out pathetic lies, it would make more sense to put tards like Elon on UBI where he could pursue his other hobbies of impregnating fugly skanks and flopping about on drugs at a much reduced cost to society.

I have thought before that putting people on UBI would suck wealth out of a wealthy society and this is a good thing. We want the West to become impoverished so that society starts appreciating good productive members of society again.

UBI wouldn't suck out any wealth from society because the wealth of a society is basically what it produces and most people produce nothing.

If most people produce nothing, then contributing to their well-being is a waste of resources, and hence impoverishes society.

Wouldn't the goal be to invent technology that would make it so we could all survive without producing anything? If we did things your way then if we succeeded in doing that we'd have to all starve to death.
